Party in the USA 🇺🇸

Last week we officially brought NXGN across the Atlantic, hosting our first-ever U.S. gathering at Tara Rose in Manhattan! Whether you joined us in person or are catching up from London, Cambridge — or anywhere else our UK-heavy readership resides — here’s a quick look at what happened and what comes next.

The Tara Rose did not disappoint. The room was filled with 40+ attendees from across the health, bio and tech spectrum — physicians, entrepreneurs, VCs, undergrad and grad students, consultants, and career-switchers alike. Conversations ranged from life in the research lab to the realities of drug pricing, the promise (and pitfalls) of AI in clinical settings, and whether Web3 has a real place in healthcare. The breadth of backgrounds made for thought-provoking dialogue and plenty of new connections.

What’s next for NXGN USA?

This launch was just the first page of the New York chapter. Here’s what we have cooking…

• Mixers – topical panels followed by open networking

• Dinners – small-group dinners to exchange hard-won lessons

• Summer socials – think Central Park picnics, board-game hangouts, maybe a biotech trivia night
